Ottawa, ON - Michel Drapeau Law Office [MDLO] is pleased to welcome Peter Stoffer who will be volunteering as a Strategic Advisor on Veteran’s Affairs issues. Mr Stoffer served for more than eighteen years as a Member of Parliament for Sackville- Eastern Shore, Nova Scotia. In welcoming this distinguished former member of Canada’s Parliament, Michel Drapeau remarked:

In accepting this position, Mr Stoffer said:

Mr Stoffer worked with Canada’s Parliament from 1997 to 2015. During this time, he was honoured with a variety of awards from the environmental, military, provincial and federal communities. Mr Stoffer was named Canada's Parliamentarian of the year 2013, and has received the Veterans Ombudsman award. Mr Stoffer has been knighted into the Order of St. George and has also been knighted by the King of the Netherlands into the Order of Orange Nassau. He is currently working for Trauma Healing Centers and volunteers his time with several military, RCMP veterans and charitable organizations
